Police are looking for a woman in her 40s who allegedly shot another woman while she sat in her car in Waianae Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 4:43 p.m., police said. The 43-year-old female victim was sitting in her car near Yokohama Bay when the suspect approached her and took personal items, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound to her head.

Police have opened an attempted murder and first-degree robbery investigation.
