Police open assault case after infant, 2 months, is hospitalized

Police are investigating the possible assault of a 2-month old boy who was taken to the Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center with substantial bodily injuries on Friday.
A 21-year-old Kapolei woman was arrested at hospital but later released pending investigation.
Police believe the child sustained the injuries sometime before noon on Friday.
