A 28-year-old man who allegedly stabbed his 22-year-old nephew in Aiea has been charged with second degree assault.

Matthew Tenson, of Aiea, was being held on  $15,000 bail after being charged Friday.

Police said Tenson had been drinking and got into an argument with his nephew about household chores at bout 9:15 a.m. Thursday. Tenson then allegedly took out a pocket knife  and stabbed the younger man, who suffered what police described as “serious and substation injuries” to his abdomen.
