Honolulu police are investigating three separate deaths that occurred Saturday through this morning, as is routine when there are no witnesses.

A 42-year-old man became unresponsive while at home and was taken to a local hospital, where he died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, police say.  The medical examiner’s office identified him as Derek Haugen of Honolulu.

A 56-year-old man was found dead in the Waikiki area sometime after 6 a.m. this morning.  Authorities haven’t identified him but believe he died sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday.

Police further report that a 67-year-old man was taken to an Aiea area hospital, where he later died.  They said the incident occurred sometime before 3 p.m. Saturday.

No other details on the incidents were immediately available.
