Firefighters battling Kaena Point brush fire
Firefighters responded Saturday to a call to fight a brush fire near Kaena Point, but the size of the blaze is unknown, a Fire Department spokesman said.
The fire was reported about 1:45 p.m.
Fire Capt. Chris Ah Mook Sang said firefighters are having difficulty getting water to the area because of the distance the fire is from the road.
The blaze is on the ocean side of the road, Ah Mook Sang said.
