Four customers are without water service and a section of Anipeahi Street is closed in both directions as Board of Water Supply crews work to repair a water main break in Makakilo.

The break to the 8-inch main near 92-685 Anipeahi Street was reported at 11:25 p.m. Monday night. Repair crews have closed the section of road between Aoloko  and Ualehei streets while they work on the water main, which was installed in 1965.

Repairs are expected to continue through most of the day. A water wagon has set up at 92-670 Anipeahi Street to provide water to affected customers.
