Residents get recalculated water bills
The Kauai Department of Water has rebilled all of its customers in Kekaha, Waimea and Puhi to correct possible billing miscalculations.
The revised bill has the words "Corrected Bill Statement" printed at the top. Customers should discard their original bill and use the revised bill.
While the revised bill for most customers will show a decrease in the amount due, there may be an increase for some, Kauai officials said.
Customers can monitor their account online by registering at www.kauaiwater.org.
