Pasion headlines boxing card

Haley Pasion, 2011 USA National Champion, will fight Sweden’s No. 3-ranked Norah Guzlander in a 119-pound bout on an amateur boxing card today at the Momilani Community Center in Pearl City.

Bouts begin at 6 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for ages 8-16 and free for ages 7 and under.

Low scoreless in Clippers’ summer debut

Former ‘Iolani star Derrick Low played just over a minute and did not score in his debut with the Los Angeles Clippers in a 90-83 win over the Atlanta Hawks in an NBA Summer League game in the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas on Friday.

The Clippers’ first-round pick, Reggie Bullock out of North Carolina, finished with 18 points on 8-for-15 shooting. Low played just 1:18.
