A woman whose purse was stolen from her vehicle drove after the suspects in Hawaii Kai, leading to a car chase and vehicle collision, police said.

Police said a suspect went into a 35-year-old woman’s vehicle and took her purse. The male suspect got into another vehicle driven by a 41-year-old woman and drove off, but were followed by the the 35-year-old woman.

During the chase, the suspects allegedly rammed the victim’s vehicle.

Police arrived on scene and arrested the suspects Tuesday afternoon.
