Neiman Marcus is hosting an "Up Close: Estee Lauder" event through Sunday, featuring makeovers, consultations and a look at the new fall beauty collections.
Shoppers who make an Estee Lauder purchase of $75 or more will receive a free city tote filled with a deluxe 14-day supply of Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lift Age-Correcting Creme; a compact of eye, face and lip shades; a full-size Pure Color Lipstick; an Intense Kajal Eyeliner; and a Sumptuous Extreme Mascara. One free gift per customer, while supplies last.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Dior experts return for Addict promotion
DFS Galleria’s Beauty World is welcoming three of Dior’s Pro Team makeup artists to promote the latest Dior Addict products.
The event marks the return of Galvin Lin, from China; Yasuhiro Tokunaga, from Japan; and Nicolas Berreteaga, from Mexico City.
All three will be in the store from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6:15 to 10 p.m. today and Friday. Tokunaga and Berreteaga will also be there from 4 to 6:15 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Sephora is inviting shoppers to try the Sephora + Pantone Color IQ color-matching service.
Technology allows Sephora’s makeup specialists to scan a person’s skin color to help determine her perfect foundation match. Try the system, get a complimentary makeover and take home deluxe beauty samples while supplies last.
Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome.
The event takes place during store hours at the Ala Moana Center (944-9797), Pearlridge Center (487-0660) and Waikiki (923-3301) locations from Friday through Sunday, repeating Aug. 16-18 and 23-25.
