Man suffers gunshot wound in shooting near homeless camp in Waiahole Valley
A 55-year-old man was shot in the buttocks Wednesday morning near a homeless camp in Waiahole Valley, police said.
The man went to the Queen’s Medical Center with a single gunshot wound, police said. His condition was reported as stable.
The shooting occurred at 7 a.m., and it was reported at 8:38 a.m.
Police have opened a second-degree attempted murder case.
Police said the victim can identify the man who shot him.
