2 men arrested after gunshot fires at scene of fight
Police arrested two men in Nanakuli, ages 27 and 28, for allegedly threatening a 24-year-old man.
A police sergeant traveling in Nanakuli Thursday witnessed a fight at about 3:15 p.m. on the side of the road. As she approached, the officer heard a gunshot and saw a 27-year-old man as a possible shooter, police said.
The sergeant chased the suspect, who was riding a moped, and stopped him nearby. He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree reckless endangering, and altering the identification number of a weapon.
Police arrested a 28-year-old man with the same last name and home address on three contempt warrants.
Police said their investigation showed that the 28-year-old allegedly got to the scene with the gun first and later handed it to the younger man.
