Waipahu man held in stabbing at Kapiolani Boulevard bar

Police arrested a 29-year-old Waipahu man early Sunday morning for allegedly stabbing another man at a Kapiolani Boulevard bar.

According to police, a witness saw the suspect lunge at the 28-year-old victim. The victim later realized that he had been stabbed.

The incident happened around 1:40 a.m. at the Geisha House bar.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder and disorderly conduct. The victim was taken to an area hospital in undisclosed condition.
