Big Isle infant suffers major head injury

A one-month-old Big Island infant is being treated at Kona Community Hospital for what police have described as a substantial head injury.

Authorities have not released many details on the case.

However, a Honolulu police report Monday said the baby boy was taken to the Kona Community Hospital at 4 p.m. Saturday.
