Part of road to be closed for culvert fix
The Maui Department of Public Works will close a portion of South Kihei Road from about 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 3 to make emergency repairs to the Waiakoa culvert, near the former Suda Store.
During the road closure, motorists will not be able to access South Kihei Road from the north (near the former Suda Store). Instead, motorists will be routed onto Piilani Highway. Motorists approaching from the south will be detoured onto Uwapo Road.
