Hawaii island man sought for questioning in robbery

Hawaii County police are looking for a 26-year-old Pahoa man who is wanted on two outstanding warrants.

Police also want to question Michael D. Carvalho regarding a robbery, assault and terroristic threatening.

Carvalho is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 190 to 200 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair.

Police warn the public not to approach him.

Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts should contact Detective Derek Morimoto at 961-2380 or or call the police nonemergency line at 935-3311. Anonymous calls may be made to CrimeStoppers at 961-8300 or 329-8181.
