Man charged with assaulting woman in Wahiawa
Police charged a 40-year-old man with allegedly violating a temporary restraining order and assaulting a 43-year-old woman.
The alleged assault happened about 12:30 a.m. Monday at the woman’s Wahiawa residence. The suspect, identified as Jesse Lopes, fled but was located nearby and arrested.
Lopes, who does not have a local address, was charged with second-degree assault. His bail was set at $15,000.
