The Maui Department of Water Supply will cut and plug two leaking waterlines at Hana Highway and Ulumalu Road on Tuesday night.

The project will begin at 9 p.m. and should be completed by 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. During this time, the mauka-bound (southbound) lane of Ulumalu Road from the Hana Highway intersection will be closed to traffic. Motorists are advised to use Holokai Road or Peahi Road as alternate routes and follow traffic control.

Water service should not be affected.

Customers can call the 24-hour service line at 270-7633 if a water problem occurs.
