Police determine Hawaii Kai brush fire intentionally set
Honolulu police have determined that a brush fire that sparked up Monday afternoon in Hawaii Kai was intentionally set.
A suspect or suspects are wanted for second-degree arson, according to police documents. No one has been arrested at this time.
The fire started around 3 p.m. and prompted police to close Kalanianaole Highway from Kealahou Street to the Blowhole until about 4:30 p.m., while firefighters fended off the blaze.
