UH soccer team routed at Arizona
Arizona scored twice in the first six minutes in sending the Hawaii soccer team to a 4-1 defeat today in Tucson, Ariz.
UH’s bid for a 3-0 road record against Pac-12 opposition this season was emphatically denied. UH had previously beaten Oregon and Oregon State on the mainland.
Freshman Kama Pascua scored in the 17th minute, her second goal of the season, to cut the Wildcats’ lead to 2-1. But Arizona (5-1-3) added goals in the 24th and 52nd minutes to win comfortably.
UH (3-4) continues play at Northern Arizona on Sunday.
