Alleged bag, iPhone thief turns himself in
The teenager who allegedly stole an iPhone last month and then used it to take a photo of himself turned himself in to police Wednesday night.
The suspect, a 16 year-old boy, didn’t realize that the photo was automatically uploaded to the victim’s computer.
The theft occurred Sept. 22 at 12:50 a.m. when the thief grabbed the victim’s backpack and iPhone and fled.
Teen accused of assaulting school worker
Police arrested a 16-year-old girl Wednesday for allegedly assaulting an employee at a Kalihi school.
The teen allegedly assaulted a 40-year-old female Department of Education employee at 12:50 p.m.
Police arrested the girl on suspicion of second-degree assault. She was later released pending further investigation.
Man arrested in suspected road-rage case
Police arrested a 69-year-old Pearl City man for allegedly punching a 22-year-old woman Tuesday afternoon in a road-rage incident in the Ala Moana area, police said.
The man allegedly punched the woman through an open window at 5:05 p.m., causing pain to the left side of her jaw, police said.
Police arrested the man on suspicion of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. Police later released the man pending further investigation.

4 arrested in Hilo burglary
A report from the public about a suspicious vehicle led to the arrest of a man and three women during a burglary in Hilo on Monday.
At 2:45 a.m. patrol officers responded to the burglary report at a home on the 2000 block of Ainaola Drive and found a man and three women with a pickup truck containing items from the property and the house. All four were arrested.
On Tuesday, Lorilei Brown, 38, of Keaau was charged with first-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Her bail was set at $51,000.
Her brother, Raylad Brown, 36, of Keaau, and his wife, Jeraldine Brown, 39, have not been charged in the burglary case pending further investigation, but Raylad Brown was charged with shoplifting in an unrelated case. His bail was set at $1,000.
Jeraldine Brown was charged in connection with theft and contempt-of-court warrants. Her bail was set at $12,500.
The third woman was released pending further investigation.
