A new trial date has been set for two men indicted over a deadly fireworks explosion at an Oahu bunker.

Two men and their employer, Donaldson Enterprises, Inc., are accused of treating hazardous wastes without a permit. The April 2011 blast in Waikele killed five Donaldson employees.

Director of operations Charles Donaldson and project manager Carlton Finley have pleaded not guilty.

Trial was scheduled for last month but court documents show the new trial date is scheduled for March 12. Attorneys for the defendants asked for more time to review "extensive discovery" in the case.

A hearing is scheduled today in federal court on a motion for Finley to be appointed a new defense attorney.
