PARADISE FOUND: While visiting Tokyo’s Venus Fort, a shopping mall that mimics a 17th-century Venice street, Paul Lum of Kaimuki, his son William and grandson Noah came across a restaurant advertising Hawaiian meals. “It was such a pleasant surprise to find a bit of Hawaii halfway around the world,” said Lum, who snapped the photo of William and Noah.
