Man is sought in home invasion assault
Police are looking for a man in his 30s who broke into a woman’s home and tried to sexually assault her Tuesday in Kaimuki.
Police said the woman was in her home on 6th Avenue when an unknown man entered the house through an unlocked door at 11:20 a.m. and tried to sexually assault her.
The woman managed to escape to a neighbor’s home and call police.
The man is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall, 250 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Suspect in attack at beach still at large
Police are looking for a man in his 20s who sexually assaulted a woman on Kailua Beach at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the woman was walking on the beach when a stranger approached her, grabbed her and sexually assaulted her.
The woman fled to a home on the beach and called police.
The man is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 160 to 170 pounds, with short black hair, wearing a dark shirt with white print board shorts.

23-year-old arrested in Waipahu robbery
Honolulu police arrested a 24-year-old man with no local address in connection with a robbery in Waipahu on Thursday night.
Police said the suspect allegedly assaulted and robbed a 50-year-old man just after 7 p.m. Officers located the man on Kalae Street and arrested him on suspicion of robbery and vehicle theft at about 8 p.m.
Woman charged after fight at beach park
A fight between a 39-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man ended with the arrest of the woman after arriving officers found her in possession of allegedly stolen property.
Prosecutors charged the woman with second-degree theft Thursday night, following her arrest Wednesday night.
Police said the woman, who gave no local address, fought with a 43-year-old man at a beach park in the Haleiwa area. Officers who arrived on scene noticed the allegedly stolen property and arrested the woman at about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday near Shark’s Cove.
She was being held on $20,000 bail.
Multiple stab wounds led to man’s death
An autopsy has determined that the victim of a stabbing in Puna on Tuesday bled to death from multiple stab wounds, the Hawaii County Police Department reported.
Police have charged 34-year-old David Seal of Mountain View with second-degree murder in the death of 32-year-old Rory Wick, also of Mountain View.
Police say Seal stabbed Wick at about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday in the Eden Roc subdivision in Puna.
According to the autopsy, Wick suffered injuries to his heart and left lung.
