1. Fumble

» Situation: Hawaii 0, Navy 0, 10:15 remaining, first quarter, Navy ball, fourth-and-6 at own 41
» The Play: P Pablo Beltran kicks 38 yards to the UH 21, where PR Donnie King, playing for injured Scott Harding, fumbles at the 22 after a hit by Joe Cardona. Myer Krah recovers for Navy at the UH 26.
» Impact: Navy goes to the air immediately and QB Keenan Reynolds finds wide-open WR Geoffrey Whiteside for a 26-yard touchdown. Navy never trails.
» Hawaii coach Norm Chow: "(Losing Harding) really hurt us, especially with the (special) teams. We planned on using him to punt (and) the punt returns (because of) how sure-handed he is."

2. Accuracy

» Situation: Navy 14, Hawaii 7, 1:01 remaining, first quarter, Hawaii ball, second-and-goal at Navy 8
» The Play: QB Sean Schroeder fakes to Joey Iosefa, rolls left and hits TE Clark Evans for an 8-yard touchdown.
» Impact: Schroeder finishes the game with phenomenal completion numbers, making good on 29 of 33 passes for 246 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
» Schroeder: "The guys were making catches and the O-line was protecting well."

3. Roughing

» Situation: Navy 14, Hawaii 14, 11:01 remaining, third quarter, Navy ball, first-and-10 at Hawaii 36
» The Play: Reynolds’ pass is intercepted by S John Hardy-Tuliau. But DL Beau Yap is called for roughing the passer and Navy keeps possession with a first down at the Hawaii 21.
» Impact: Four plays later Quinton Singleton scores on a 12-yard run and Navy leads 21-14. Hawaii never ties again.
» Chow: "You can’t make mistakes against a disciplined football team like that."

4. Stand

» Situation: Navy 28, Hawaii 14, 0:22 remaining, third quarter, Navy ball, fourth-and-goal at Hawaii 1
» The Play: Reynolds is stopped short of the goal line by safeties Hardy-Tuliau and Trayvon Henderson.
» Impact: Hawaii takes over and drives 99 yards in 18 plays and 5 minutes and 51 seconds. Joey Iosefa, who rushes for 191 yards in the game, bulls in the final 6 yards.
» Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo: "I thought kick it and make it a three-score game, that definitely came to my mind. But the ball’s on the 1-foot line. We’re a rushing team. Worst-case scenario, we didn’t think they’d go 99 yards."

5. Reynolds

» Situation: Navy 35, Hawaii 21, 9:04 remaining, fourth quarter, Navy ball, second-and-2 at own 33
» The Play: Reynolds breaks away for a 67-yard touchdown run.
» Impact: Navy strikes back immediately after Hawaii’s long touchdown drive on the second play with Reynolds scoring his third of four touchdowns. Realistically, there is not enough time for Hawaii to come back from two touchdowns down.
» Niumatalolo: "He runs the option as good as everyone we’ve had. Kaipo (Kaheaku-Enhada) and Kriss (Proctor). Plus he throws the ball way better than both of them."
