A skateboarder died Monday after falling and injuring his head a few days earlier in Kaneohe.
The Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Eric Pierce, 44, who was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center Nov. 9 in critical condition after falling and injuring his head at 5:30 a.m.
Emergency Medical Services said Pierce was skateboarding down a steep hill at Makamai and Lilipuna streets when he fell
Pierce died Monday night at the hospital.
An autopsy will be conducted today to determine cause of death.
Police classified the case as an unattended death.
