Seasiders remain at No. 4 in D-II poll
Brigham Young-Hawaii, which clinched its fifth consecutive PacWest championship last week, remained at No. 4 in Monday’s AVCA NCAA II Coaches Top 25 poll.
The Seasiders (23-1) extended their winning streak to 16 with three road wins last week. BYU-Hawaii finishes the regular season against Hawaii Pacific, the lone team to defeat the Seasiders this season, in a 7 p.m. match Nov. 21 at Cannon Activities Center.
Concordia-St. Paul (26-1) received all 48 first-place votes in remaining at No. 1. Tampa (24-1) stayed at No. 2, followed by Minnesota-Duluth (25-2).
Dixie State drops Chaminade in 3
Dixie State swept Chaminade 25-20, 25-15, 25-13 in women’s volleyball in St. George, Utah, on Monday.
Reigna Johnson led the Silverswords (9-15, 6-13) with seven kills and four blocks. Kapiolani Rapoza had six kills while hitting .417.
Shannon Young had 12 kills to lead the Red Storm (17-8, 14-5).
