Shannon Janelle Kaelin and Alex Steven Plumlee exchanged vows Sept. 28 in a ceremony officiated by Jason Witt at the Louisville Science Center in Kentucky.

The bride is the daughter of Rose and Noel Richardson of Kailua and Terry Kaelin Jr. of Georgia. She is a graduate of Kalaheo High School and received a massage therapy diploma from Daymar College. She works as the registrar at Daymar College.

The groom is the son of Pamela and Steven Plumlee of San Diego. He graduated from West Hills High School and is a combat medic in the United States Army.

The couple resides in Louisville, Ky.

Emily Weaver and Gregory Santiago

Emily Turere Weaver and Gregory Keali‘i­ho‘omalu Santiago were wed on Sept. 14 in a ceremony officiated by pastor Elwin Ahu at the Koolau Ballrooms.

The bride is the daughter of Turere and Spencer F. Weaver Jr. She received a master’s degree in business administration from Chaminade University. The bride is a senior vice president and chief human resources officer with University Health Alliance.

The groom is the son of Pua‘ala and Donald Santiago. He graduated from the Kamehameha Schools and is a longshoreman/wharf clerk with McCabe, Hamilton & Renny Co. Ltd.

The couple resides in Kailua.
