Molokai center improvements to be discussed
The Maui Department of Parks and Recreation will hold a community meeting to present information and receive public input on the proposed expansion of Mitchell Pau‘ole Center on Molokai and improvements to bring it up to 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act standards.

The project calls for expansion of the uncovered paved lanai, a new free-standing roof, upgraded drainage, upgraded kitchen, energy-efficient lighting and painting in the main hall, and restroom improvements.
Proposed ADA improvements include ADA parking stalls, access aisle, signage, restrooms, drinking fountain, door hardware, counter and accessible sidewalks, and wheelchair seating by bleachers.
