Teen arrested after allegedly assaulting staffer at Kapolei detention facility
A 16-year-old boy being held at a Kapolei youth detention facility was arrested early this morning after he allegedly assaulted a staff member.
The alleged assault occurred at 11:15 a.m. Thursday. The police report did not describe the type of injuries the 39-year-old man received. The suspect was released pending further investigation after being arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
