Man arrested for attack on police officer in Waikiki
A 27-year-old man assaulted an officer who was trying to arrest him Thursday morning in Waikiki, police said.
The incident happened at about 3:30 a.m. when the officer approached the suspect to make an arrest and the suspect attacked the officer, police said.
The officer was not seriously hurt and the suspect was arrested.
