Police arrested an Aiea woman Saturday night on suspicion of operating a stolen vehicle that she tried to sell earlier in the day.

The 48-year-old suspect had met with two potential buyers, who called police to check if the vehicle was stolen, according to a police report.

Patrol units were sent to the scene in Waipahu. The suspect, who drove the car to the site, was arrested around 11 p.m. for unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, a felony charge.
