Hawaii County crews recover body of missing fisherman
Big Island fire rescue personnel have recovered the body of a fisherman missing since Saturday.
The body was discovered floating face down about 15 yards offshore near the mouth of the Wailuku River and Hilo Bay around 3:45 p.m. Monday and recovered by rescue boat personnel, Mauui fire officials said.
The man had been last seen in the Wailuku River behind the Hilo Army National Guard armory around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
