Man charged with breaking into occupied Makiki home
A 46-year-old man has been charged with breaking into a Makiki home and surprising the homeowner.
Kevin Prichard was arrested Tuesday and charged with unauthorized entry. His bail was set at $11,000.
Police said a 45-year-old woke up at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to find the suspect entering the front door of her Makiki home.
Police said the man refused to leave, but the woman was able to push him out.
She called police and officers arrested the suspect nearby.
