Kayaker dies after flipping on North Shore
A 39-year-old man died today after he was pulled from waters off Aweoweo Beach Park in Waialua.
According to police, the man was kayaking in the area when his vessel flipped over around 1:25 p.m. Witnesses brought the man to shore and began CPR until EMS arrived.
Paramedics transported the man in critical condition to an area hospital, where he later died.
