OCCC inmate arrested for Kapahulu robbery
A 27-year-old Honolulu man, who is being held in Oahu Community Correctional Center while awaiting trial for violating terms of his parole and a separate charge of breaking into a home, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly robbing a Kapahulu business in December.
The suspect has been in the Kalihi prison since Dec. 15, pending a trial for violating conditions of his parole.
Police reports indicate that he was arrested at 9:15 a.m. at the prison Wednesday on suspicion of first-degree robbery that occurred Dec. 10.
He also faces another charge of unauthorized entry into a dwelling.
