A getaway for Valentine’s Day in Kihei would be the U.S.’ most expensive stay, according to CheapHotels.org.

Hawaii in fact has five destinations on the vacation booking site’s top 10 list.

The website conducted a survey comparing U.S. destinations according to hotel room rates for the Valentine’s Day through Presidents’ Day weekend, from Friday through Monday, and Kihei’s $416 per night put it at the top.

The $416 is the average cost for the most affordable double room.

The rest of the CheapHotels.org top 10 most expensive destinations for the dual Valentine’s Day – Presidents’ Day weekend this year, as well as their average room rate are, No. 2 Vail, Colo., $402, No. 3, Key West, Fla., $399, No. 4 Wailea, Maui, at $359, No. 5 Sanibel Island Fla., $329, No. 6 Waikoloa, Hawaii island, $326, No. 7 Islamorada, Fla., $319, No. 8 Aspen, Colo., $299, No. 9, Poipu, Kauai, $296, and No. 10, Kaanapali, Maui, $289.
