The National Weather Service issued a flash flood advisory for Oahu until 5:30 p.m. Wednesday after a radar image showed heavy rain falling near central parts of the island.

Rain is falling at 1 to 3 inches an hour northeast of Wahiawa near Whitmore Village and along the northern Koolaus. The rain is drifting east and may affect Wahiawa town and Kamehameha Highway within the next hour, said the National Weather Service.
