Applicants sought for summer journalism internships
The Society of Professional Journalists’ Hawaii chapter is looking for college students and recent graduates interested in summer internships.
SPJ is offering paid internships in print, online and broadcast news this summer. Selected applicants can work at one of the following organizations full time for 10 weeks: Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Pacific Business News, Hawaii Magazine, Hawaii Business, Honolulu Magazine, Pacific Edge, Trade Publishing, Honolulu Civil Beat, HuffPost Hawaii, The Hawaii Independent, Hawaii News Now, Alexander & Baldwin. Hawaii Public Radio, KHON and KITV are offering part-time internships for eight weeks.
Residents who have attended a Hawaii high school and are at least sophomores enrolled in a college or university are eligible to apply. College graduates who earned their degrees no earlier than May 2013 can also apply.
