Three homeless after fire destroys Mountain View house
Hawaii Island fire investigators are searching for the cause of a fire that destroyed a home Tuesday and left three people homeless in Mountain View.
The fire started just before noon in the Maui Street home near Livingston Lane, firefighters said.
No one was home, and no one was hurt. A damage estimate was not immediately available.
The Red Cross said its volunteers were responding to help with emergency needs.
