WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
>> Milika Taufa, Lahainaluna ’10: The Indiana forward had seven points, four rebounds and two assists in her final regular-season game, a 76-56 loss to Michigan State on Sunday.
>> Lia Galdeira, Konawaena ’12: The Washington State sophomore finished with a team-high 16 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists in an 84-64 loss to Stanford on Sunday. The Cougars are the No. 7 seed in the Pac-12 tournament and open play Thursday against 10th-seeded Oregon.
>> Hailey Ann Maeda, Punahou ’11: The Whitman (Wash.) sophomore had three points, six rebounds and a block in a 77-60 win over Puget Sound in the semifinals of the Northwest Conference tournament on Thursday. Maeda had five points, five rebounds and two blocks in a 68-65 loss to Whitworth (Wash.) in the championship game on Saturday. Despite suffering their first loss, the Missionaries will host an NCAA Division III regional starting Friday against Chapman (Calif.).
>> Ashley Agcaoili, Maryknoll ’11: The Puget Sound guard had four points, two rebounds and a steal against Whitman.
WOMEN’S GYMNASTICS
>> Tracie Villanueva, Moanalua ’13: The Seattle Pacific freshman scored 9.85 on the bars, tying for third place in Friday’s loss to UC Davis. This was the highest bars score of the year by an SPU gymnast and helped SPU to break the school team record with a 194.575 team score.
>> Kristi Hayashida, Christian Education Institute ’13: The Seattle Pacific freshman scored a 9.75 on the beam, SPU’s top score on this event, and a 9.80 on the floor in Friday’s meet against UC Davis, contributing to the school team record.
>> Tiana Montell, St. Joseph ’11: The UC Davis junior placed second on vault with a score of 9.825. She also earned a 9.825 on floor and a 9.725 on the beam in Friday’s win over Seattle Pacific.
>> Jenna Frowein, Punahou ’12: The Stanford sophomore scored a 9.750 on the floor exercise event in Monday’s win over California. It was the school’s 32nd win in a row.
>> Mackenzie Sato, Iolani ’10: The Cornell senior earned a 9.775 (fourth-place tie) in Saturday’s loss to Rutgers, helping the Big Red earn a season-high team score of 192.625.
SOFTBALL
>> Courtney Senas, Mililani ’10: The Florida State outfielder went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs in a 7-1 win over Houston on Friday in the Seminoles’ opening game of the Easton Crimson Classic. Senas had three hits, three stolen bases and drove in five runs in the tournament as FSU finished 4-1.
>> Kayla Shimoda, Punahou ’11: The Columbia junior went 4-for-8 with a triple, three runs, a stolen base and an RBI as the Lions went 2-1 in the Hampton Invitational over the weekend. One of their wins came via forfeit.
>> Brittany Hawn, Castle ’12: The Stetson third baseman went 3-for-12 with two runs, two RBIs and a stolen base to help the Hatters finish 2-2 at the Central Florida tournament.
>> Tiana Rosario, Campbell ’13: The Lewis & Clark freshman went 4-for-7 with a double, two walks, four runs and three RBIs in a doubleheader sweep of Puget Sound on Saturday.
>> Caitlin Basilio, Mililani ’10: The Lewis & Clark senior went 2-for-4 with a double in Game 2 of the doubleheader against the Loggers.
>> Kristi Nagamine, Mid-Pacific ’13: The Puget Sound freshman went 3-for-7 with a double, two runs and an RBI in the two losses to Lewis & Clark.
>> Jaci Young, Punahou ’13: The Puget Sound utility player went 2-for-4 with a double, two walks, a run and a stolen base in two games against the Pioneers. She pitched all seven innings in the second game, allowing three earned runs with two walks and seven strikeouts.
WOMEN’S TENNIS
>> Malia Ford, St. Anthony ’11: The Puget Sound junior scored the Loggers’ only point, winning at No. 5 singles in an 8-1 loss to Linfield (Ore.) on Saturday. Ford won at No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles a day earlier in a 6-3 win over Willamette (Ore.).
MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
>> Devin Jenkins, Kapolei ’12: The Southern sophomore finished first in the 60-meter race, tying last year’s record of 6.66 seconds at the Southwest Athletic Conference Indoor Championships on Feb. 23. Jenkins also won the 200-meter dash with a time of 20.92 seconds.
>> Kelson Kawai, Kohala ’10: The Pacific (Ore.) senior broke his own school record with a leap of 6 feet, 5 inches to win the men’s high jump at the Portland Indoor on Feb. 23.
>> Michael Zane, Punahou ’11: The Pacific (Ore.) junior won the men’s 300 meters with a time of 37.45 seconds at the Portland Indoor.
>> Gary Fanelli, Damien ’13: The Pacific (Ore.) freshman won the 600 meters in 1:24.89 at the Portland Indoor.
>> Justin Higa, ‘Iolani ’11: The Puget Sound junior finished second in the 10,000 meters with a time of 32:59.85 on Saturday in a quad meet against Lewis & Clark, Seattle Pacific and Western Washington.

>> Joshlyn Noga, Kahuku ’11: The Charleston Southern junior finished third in the shot put with a throw of 46 feet, 4 inches and 14th in the weight throw with a distance of 50 feet, 1 inch at the Big South Indoor Conference Championships over the weekend. Noga’s shot put broke a six-year-old school record by 6 inches and was one of the 10 best throws in conference history.
>> Sophie Curatilo, Moanalua ’11: The Seattle University junior earned first-team All-Western Athletic Conference honors in the 1-mile run with a second-place finish in 4:58.93 at the WAC Indoor Championships on Friday. Curatilo placed 15th in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:40.69.
>> Alexis Danno, Sacred Hearts ’12: The Pacific (Ore.) sophomore finished fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 27.42 seconds at the Linfield Erik Anderson Memorial Icebreaker over the weekend. Her time tied for the seventh-fastest in school history.
>> Cyan Agena, Kamehameha ’11: The Pacific (Ore.) sophomore finished fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:14.54 at the Linfield Erik Anderson Memorial Icebreaker.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL
>> Michael Fisher, Hawaii Baptist ’13: The UCLA freshman had 13 kills, five digs and a block assist in a five-set loss to Hawaii on Saturday night.
>> Colin Peros, Punahou ’13: The Vassar (N.Y.) College freshman setter had 71 assists, 11 digs, five kills, two aces and two block assists in two losses on Saturday.
WOMEN’S WATER POLO
>> Shayna Price, Punahou ’10: The Harvard senior scored her first goal 58 seconds into the match and finished with three goals, three steals and an assist in an 11-9 loss to Princeton on Sunday that was televised on ESPNU.
>> Paige Tsuruda, Word of Life ’10: The Cal State Bakersfield senior scored five goals against Cal Lutheran and four against La Verne on Saturday to help the Roadrunners finish a perfect 4-0 in the Cal Lutheran Posada Invitational.
>> Sarina Shibata, Punahou ’12: The Villanova sophomore scored 15 goals over six games in the Cal Lutheran Invitational, helping the Wildcats finish 3-3.
>> Naomi Ng, Punahou ’12: The Villanova driver tallied goals in each of the Wildcats’ four matches on Sunday, finishing with five as Villanova closed the tournament with wins over Occidental, La Verne and Cal Lutheran.
MEN’S WRESTLING
>> Patrick Sheehan, Punahou ’11: The New York University junior co-captain won two matches, one by pinfall, and placed fifth at 184 pounds in the NCAA Division III East Regionals on Sunday.
