3 held in attack on man in Aiea

Two men and a women were arrested after they allegedly attacked another man in Aiea on Wednesday night.

Police said the assault occurred just before midnight when three people attacked a 25-year-old man, leaving him unconscious with a possible facial fracture.

Two men, ages 19 and 22, and an 18-year-old Kapolei woman were arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.

Victim of fatal accident is ID’d

The city Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the 73-year-old Waikiki woman who was killed while crossing Kalia Road on Tuesday as Haruko Okabe.

Police said Okabe was jaywalking at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday when she was hit by a tour bus headed in the Diamond Head direction on Kalia Road.
