Senate confirms Enright as director of state Department of Agriculture
The state Senate has voted unanimously to confirm Scott Enright as the director of the state Department of Agriculture.
Enright, who had been serving as a deputy in the department, replaces Russell Kokubun, who retired at the end of last year.
Enright has also worked as a consultant for the Hawaii Sustainable Agriculture and Renewable Energy Project, project manager for the ITC Water Management Inc., cultivation and irrigation superintendent for Hamakua Sugar Co., and orchard superintendent for Kilauea Agronomics.
The Senate confirmed Enright on Friday.
