Police have found the Ford SUV that was involved in an Aiea hit-and-run case that left a man in critical condition, and are seeking information on the driver.

Police located the 1994 Ford Explorer parked on Waimano Home Road and found damages consistent with the collision after receiving a tip.

The victim was crossing Kamehameha Highway at Hekaha Street on March 8 when he was hit by an unknown driver about 12:24 a.m., police said. The driver did not stop. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police are seeking witnesses to the hit-and-run accident.
