Japan-based Manichi Group will open Ramen Man-Ichi at Windward Mall’s Paina Food Court in June.

The noodle shop will be the company’s first Ramen Man-Ichi concept, and its second U.S. operation since opening inside Shirokiya at Ala Moana Center.

Ramen Man-ichi will offer the group’s popular pork-based ramen, its signature shoyu and miso ramen, and a new dish called the Man-ichi Special which features four flavors in one bowl. Popular rice dishes and gyoza also will be on the menu, according to a statement.

The shop will open in what mall officials call a new space close to Dairy Queen.

Manichi Group was established in Japan in 1953 and operates 22 restaurants throughout Asia.
