>> Tim Arakawa, Moanalua ’11: The Oklahoma State second baseman went 3-for-13 with two walks, two RBIs and two stolen bases to help the Cowboys win two of three against Texas Pan-American over the weekend.
>> Kalei Contrades, Saint Louis ’11: The San Jose State right-hander started the Spartans’ only win of a series against UNLV on Sunday, going 72/3 innings and allowing two runs on six hits with no walks and seven strikeouts in a no decision in SJSU’s 3-2 win. It was his first start of the year after pitching six times out of the bullpen.
>> Reyn Sugai, University ’11: The Temple second baseman went 4-for-8 with a double, three walks, three runs and an RBI in three games over the weekend.
>> Travis Shaw, Saint Louis ’11: The St. Martin’s (Wash.) designated hitter went 5-for-12 with a double, four walks, five runs scored and three RBIs in a four-game split against Montana State-Billings over the weekend.

>> Curtis Martin, ‘Iolani ’10: The Whittier (Calif.) right-hander allowed three runs on 11 hits in eight innings with no walks and no strikeouts to register the Poets’ only win of a three-game series against Redlands on Saturday.
>> Kainoa Inafuku, Kamehameha ’10: The Grinnell (Iowa) College third baseman went 3-for-10 with a grand slam and four runs scored to help the Pioneers open the season winning two of three against Central College over the weekend.
>> Niko Takayesu, Punahou ’13: The Grinnell College third baseman went 2-for-8 with a triple and three runs scored in three games against Central College.

>> Randi Lau, Thompson Academy ’11: The Penn State junior finished 10th in the all-around, scoring 9.775 on the vault, 8.950 on the bars, 9.80 on the balance beam and 9.825 on the floor exercise in Saturday’s second-place finish against Minnesota, Michigan and Iowa State. The Nittany Lions will compete in the Big Ten championships this weekend.
>> Tiana Montell, St. Joseph’s ’11: The UC Davis junior scored 9.750 on the balance beam to tie for second place in a loss to California on Saturday.
>> Mackenzie Sato, ‘Iolani ’10: The Cornell senior scored 9.650 on the floor exercise in Saturday’s win over West Chester (Pa.) University. The Big Red will compete in the Eastern College Athletic Conference championships this weekend.
>> Tracie Villanueva, Moanalua ’13: The Seattle Pacific freshman finished in a tie for seventh place on the uneven bars with a 9.800 in Friday’s third-place finish in a meet against Washington and Oregon State. SPU is ranked fourth in the USAG collegiate seedings heading into the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships this weekend.
