Police are looking for a man who stole a Matson shipping container early Sunday morning from the Beretania Safeway store.

Video surveillance shows a man driving a tractor trailer truck arrives at the store, reverses and hooks up the trailer carrying what appears to be a 40-foot shipping container, and drives off.

The theft occurred about 4:10 a.m., a suspect drove into the loading area of Safeway Beretania, hooked up to a Matson container, and drove off in an unknown direction.
