FBI tries to identify suspect in child sex crimes
The FBI is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspected of sexually exploiting a child.
Images and video of the unidentified adult male, John Doe 28, engaging in sexually explicit activities with a child were first recorded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in November 2012. Investigators for the FBI and the center have enhanced images of the suspect.
There are no details linking the suspect to Hawaii or any particular state or region of the United States.
The FBI made a similar request in 2012, and information led to the conviction of a Hawaii island man. John Tucker, 56, of Pahoa pleaded guilty in 2013 to producing child pornography featuring two children under 10.
