Police have opened an assault and terroristic threatening case following an argument in Waianae early Friday morning.

The 34-year-old victim was injured during an argument with a 36-year-old man.

Police said the victim was taken to the hospital at 3:24 a.m. from a Jade street address.

An earlier report from emergency personnel said the victim was shot, but that information was corrected by police Friday.

Police did not describe what type of weapon was used.

The victim was arguing with another man when the suspect approached the two and got into a fight with the victim.

The suspect has not been arrested and is facing possible assault and terroristic threatening charges.
