UH’s Morrison wins javelin throw
Hawaii’s Kaleigh Morrison won the javelin throw on the first day of the Rainbow Relays on Friday at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.
Morrison won the event with a throw of 126 feet. Teammate Shayna Dockery was second with a throw of 122-8 and teammate Jacqueline Donovan placed third with a personal best of 115-9. Donovan improved on her personal record by 13 feet and qualified for the Big West Championships.
The Rainbow Relays continues on Saturday.
